So, what the fuck’s up with this site lately, you ask? Well, it’s a combination of things. Okay, it’s one thing. I’ve had a relapse of the depression I’ve talked about in the past. This makes it harder to get interested in things to post, less eager to post, and just not in the mood to be the type of blogger I want to be. I also feel like I need a better sense of focus for the site. Meaning, I feel like I’m all over the map here, and it’s not exactly conducive to quality work product. Anyways, I’m working on these things, and I think I’m making some progress, but…..I just can’t guarantee posts coming out regularly in the next few weeks. I can promise to be intermittent, but that’s all. I hope my loyal readers decide to stick around, because I’m going to get things back to normal, and I’d love you to be here when I do.

You and I are likely very different people. I’m opposed to the death penalty. I avoid killing bugs if I can, instead picking them up and taking them outside. If I see an animal in the road, I’m one of those stupid people who brake and swerve wildly to avoid hitting it. Shit, I even avoid killing wolves in Oblivion because the sounds they make are too close to that of a real dog getting hurt. When it comes to things like this, I’m not much more than a little girl.

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the planet. I haven’t been kidnapped by the Armenian Liberated Army. Nothing that interesting. There have been a long series of events that led to the recent lack of posting, but that is a story for another day. Let’s leave it at this: I’m out of state and will return Saturday. Time, in their infinite newsy wisdom, has declared you and I the people of the year for 2006. You, me, and all the other folks who use the internet. I guess I’m kinda honored to get such an accolade, but I’m not sure if Time knows what they are doing. Nominating all of us as people of the year means that I have to share that honor with dudes who get off on watching donkeys take on ladies and folks who think George Bush is the second coming of Christ. I’m not sure that’s a group I want to be lumped in with. Regardless, I think I’ll pass on the awards show.
